“To effectively communicate,
we must realize that we are
all different in the way
we perceive the world and
use this understanding as
a guide to our communication
with others
.”
- Anthony Robbins
Racquenteurs Toastmasters is a non-profit, business-casual public speaking club located in Vancouver, British Columbia; and a part of Toastmasters International.
We're a great group of friendly people who have come together at one time or another to face our public speaking fears and improve our overall communication skills. Our membership is very diverse, with individuals of all age, background and experience. The common thread among all of us is that we want to improve and challenge ourselves, and do so in an open, honest, friendly environment. Racquenteurs allows us this opportunity to develop our skills, develop lasting friendships and achieve personal growth.
We have an excellent meeting space, in a boardroom at the Vancouver Lawn Tennis and Badminton Club (Fir and 16th). The space is elegant, well lit and suits the Toastmasters public speaking environment well. There is also a comfortable lounge next to the boardroom where members and guests can adjourn after the meeting for more informal socializing.
